Overview And Experience
WENDY completed her undergraduate education at Florida State University with a degree in Accounting. She became a licensed Certified Public accountant in 1995. She then attended Stetson University College of Law, where she graduated with her law degree in 1997 in the top third of her class and received the William F. Blews Pro Bono Award for her commitment to community service.
Since being admitted to the Florida Bar, Wendy has handled thousands of Bankruptcy and Foreclosure cases throughout the state of Florida, including cases in Chapter 7 (liquidation), Chapter 13 (reorganization) and Chapter 11 (business reorganization). She recently was a guest speaker for a seminar on Bankruptcy practices for attorneys new to Debtor’s Bankruptcy. Wendy also serves on the Board of Directors for Bay Area Legal Services and Congregation Kol Ami, serves on the Board of Trustees for JNF, and serves as the Chairperson of the Animal Advisory Committee as the representative of County Commissioner Pat Kemp. She also regularly volunteers for clinics for Bankruptcy and family law and has been a temporary foster home for pets for local animal rescues.
Wendy is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida and in Federal Court, Middle District of Florida. Wendy is currently a member in good standing of the Florida Bar, and is also a member of the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
